The Committee All Different All Equal Bologna proposes the Living Library in at Librinchiostro. Festival sponsored by the library Quartiere San Vitale, with a catalog focused on the identities and contradictions that run through the city of Bologna, following the success of the initiative was held December 10, 2007 in Piazza Verdi.
The Living Library has books, catalogs, librarians, and but readers and readers are faced with people who recounted their experience of life as a book to discover and share.
The Living Library was born in Denmark in 2000 at the initiative of the NGO Stop the Violence, and has since toured many European cities.
In Italy, has just held its third Living Library the city of Turin on the occasion of International Book Fair that opened in the month of living libraries.
Following, May 17 the Library will protagonist in Trent for three days of initiatives Universes inverse ; then disembark in Bologna Librinchiostro Friday 23 and Saturday, May 24, then stop in Modena on May 24 and 25.
Each Living Library will have its own customized catalog with hundreds of titles and experiences are meeting around Italy.
The Committee All Different All Equal Bologna, Bologna promoter of the event, is a network of associations that share a commitment to intercultural dialogue, human rights education and peace, youth participation and non-formal education methods.
The Committee was formed in October 2006 during the presentation of the Italian Campaign All Different All Equal, and is currently comprised of University Amnesty International Group, YAP-Youth Action for Peace, Youth Group keep, but it works with diverse aspects of the Bologna area.
